In the Heart of the Medieval City
Paul Gobin, owner and manager of the restaurant Le Créneau, comes from a family of restaurant owners inked in the medieval city for several generations.
Proud of his roots, he decided in 2008 to open his own restaurant in the very heart of this medieval city that he likes so much, at 6 rue de la place Saint Jean.
The tradition
Paul has values he knows well, advocating traditional cuisine, homemade and using fresh and local products. It offers local specialties such as the famous cassoulet.
The Sharing
Paul also offers you a second card, that of the TAPAS. To share and devour, quality products well prepared and well presented with attention to detail. We feel in each of these dishes the desire to give pleasure.
View
Aware of the potential of his establishment, Paul undertakes in 2015 heavy renovation of the soil, to offer Carcassonnais and tourists from around the world, a magnificent panoramic terrace, with probably the most beautiful view of the medieval city.
Ideally located opposite the Count’s castle, you can admire a beautiful sunset on the walls of the medieval City of Carcassonne.
